The Implementation of Retirement Insurance Program

June 2015, the Indonesian Government released a regulation on the implementation of Retirement Insurance Program by BPJS for Manpower, which is PP No. 45 Year 2015.

This Retirement Insurance Program (Program Jaminan Pensiun) is different from the Jaminan Hari Tua (JHT) Program. This is in addition to JHT, which requires monthly contribution of 3% from monthly salary with the following break-down:

•    2% to be borne by the employer

•    1% to be borne by the participant / employee
